Hummmm. Now you got me slightly worried over this Phil but i don't think we are being taken over or going to be and time soon. We already have links with Clubs in Belgium and the Ivory Coast and i don't think this is much different.... You stirrer...

Well, im happy for my omlet league table that "Ooops, word censored!"nal are winning, and that liverpool are falling down the table.

BUT, the refereeing of the "Ooops, word censored!"nal wigan game was a complete shambles. It was a definite penalty for flamini's foul on heskey and "Ooops, word censored!"nal's 1st goal was from an offside position. no wonder paul jewel is furious!

another good thing though - lehmann misses the Milk cup final

you're not wrong chelsea!!

blatant penalty for wiggin - how on earth was that not seen??

Thierry Henry - BLATANT DIVE!!! - at least it puts the idea that "Ooops, word censored!"nal play fairly to bed.. another "Ooops, word censored!"nal player booked for diving today.... but how was Henry NOT booked for that???

Wenger moaning and whining at the fourth official - Henry sulking at the goalie all the second half...

Lehmann booked for timewasting.. ahh - the beautiful game that "Ooops, word censored!"nal play!

I am hugely disgusted with "Ooops, word censored!"nal's behaviour today, it truly sickens me. What kind of example are they giving to younger children.

Henry was an absolute ******, when he went into Kirkland's face. Like Andy Gray said, Henry and all of his teamates will have NO IDEA what it would be like to play for Wigan. At this present time Villa are not a really big team in the top half of the table, so I completly understand why Wigan did such a thing, because my team have to do it too. There is nothing better than getting a point against one of the big 4, if you're a mid table club. I think the F.A should slap Henry with a huge fine.

Moving on, Lehmann up to his old tricks. Throwing the ball against the advertising board to gain time was awful, we know Wigan were wasting time a bit, but surely the referee would have added it on at the end. Lehmann is a top goalkeeper, but a disgusting sportsman. I'm sure "Ooops, word censored!"ne and "Ooops, word censored!"nal are relieved he misses the Carling Cup Final and not a league game, because the probability was that Almunia would have played anyway!

My full sympathy goes to Paul Jewell and Wigan in general, they put in a heroes performance and SHOULD have been the first team to win at the Emirates. It was a BLAYTANT penalty, if that was in Wigan's penalty area and Adebayor or Henry or Baptista had gone down, I think the pressure of the crowd would have persuaded/forced Phil Dowd and the linesman to give the decision. Where is the consistancy in referees, for one example Leighton Baines got booked for a similar tackle, which Rosicky commited and escaped. Then the goal, the Linesman on that side of the pitch had been hot on all offsides all game. The one crucial decision, and he got it wrong. I think this was because he was too busy looking along the line at Henry and Baptista, that he missed the player (Flamini?) who was right in front of him.

To conclude, I love watching "Ooops, word censored!"nal play, but too be honest they're full of rich scumbags.

EXCUSE ME!!!!

You 3 are all talking COMPLETE rubbish!

Yes "Ooops, word censored!"nals first goal may have been offside but Adebayor was never offside when he scored earlier on - these things have a way of evening themselves out! We should have had 2 goals.

Ok, so Lehmann timewasted, but he was booked for it. Chris Kirkland was FAR worse throughout the game and didn't get booked for it - no wonder Henry was in his face. Kirkland is such a cheat!!!

As for the penalty claim, it would have been VERY harsh if given, he went down way to easily... Clichy was bundled down by 4 wigan players when in the area and he didn't get one.

And Wenger moaning? I think you'll find its Jewell that gets slapped with a fine for that....

Honestly, i thought you lot were suposed to know about football....

I think Jewell will be fined. I really dont know how he didnt blow his top in the post match interview

We must agree to disagree on the penalty though Helen  as I think it was clear cut....there was contact and nowadays referees are even giving them now for even NO CONTACT and just intent (think of liverpools penalty at brammal lane - ref said "there was no contact but intent"):shock:

I celebrate with you in your push for 3rd spot though! As usual "Ooops, word censored!"nal always come back and thats why I think you will win The Milk Cup :D

cheat

I can name a better list of cheats than ex.Liverpool keeper Kirkland.

Jens Lehmann,

Justin Hoyte

Kolo Toure,

Johan Djourou

Gael Clichy

Theo Walcott

Cesc Fabregas

Gilberto Silva,

Tomas Rosicky

Julio Baptista

Thierry Henry

Emmanuel Adebayor

Mathieu Flamini.

Aliadiere is saved, he was quite innocent.

(I snipped some of that!)

I'm sure now it's Monday you have some perspective, Martin - and it's fun to bash "Ooops, word censored!"nal every now and again - but just read back what you wrote!!!

You seem to have romanticised Wiggin along the way and you seem to be suggesting Villa are a poor little club..

1. Wiggin is not a football town - it's a rugby-league town - they bought their way to the Premiership with massive amounts of money - they had one good season (like reading this year - and west ham last year) and are now on their way back where they belong, hopefully :-)

2. Villa cannot play the "poor little Villa against the big boys card" (Bolton can, but Villa can't!!)

Villa are owned by megabucks randy American Billionaire (sell-outs!) - and they have (so we are told) the greatest manager who ever lived...

so no poor little Villa card from you young man!!

for the record - yes, Henry dived, yes Henry got in Kirkland's face - but Henry has always been a sulker when things don't go his way. Penalties are given or not given ever day of the week - Wiggin will get over it. "Ooops, word censored!"nal had a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside.

Henry let himself down - he will know that - (even Helen might admit that one day ) - all players do that now and again, big deal!

but what followed from the commentators and 606 and such was frankly nauseating - poor little wiggin??? do me a favour!!!!

out of our five clubs....

Bolton, Wolves, "Ooops, word censored!"nal - not sold out to the money men

Chelsea and Villa - go join ManU, Liverpool and Portsmouth in the sell-out corner

Phil (from poor ickle Bolton!!)

Martin, I will not rise to your comments as it is clear you do not know what you are talking about and should be humoured instead. So heres a little question for you....

Q: What's the difference between a Villa fan and a broken clock?

A: Even a broken clock is right twice a day!

:wink::lol::lol:

And Phil, i believe it is the week of the most exciting match so far this year :? And in honour of that, a snippet of news i picked up before the big game... You really should be quite worried... Have you heard?

Bolton Wanderers are apparently under investigation by the Inland Revenue for tax evasion;

They've been claiming for Silver Polish for the past 20 years.

I stand by my comments at this present time. Villa at this current time are not a huge club. We're re-building for next year. If we mess it up next year I won't defend them because they are a small club. We are a sleeping giant, HAVE YOU EVER WON THE EUROPEAN CUP, THE EUROPEAN CUP, THE EUROPEAN CUP!

Phil did you get my pm about the appeal?

you can't be a small club and a sleeping giant?? You have squillions of pounds - you have spent BIG - you have (allegedly) the best manager ever invented...

and you continue to slide down the table, like jelly off a wall...

nah - not convinced by the "little-Villa" approach..

(considering the appeal - will post table later when I am fully awake!)
