Cranfield Kate
I am guessing that you can feed chooks soya beans as they put soya in commercial feed. I have some left over from dinner last night (they were part of a very yummy salad) and would like to try them as a treat but was wondering if anyone knew of any reason not to. thank you! Redwing
I dont know but would probably feed them to my hens if it was me, maybe just a few and guage their reactions and keep the rest in the fridge till tomorrow pending explosive pooing situations
ClaireG
I've given them to my girls before with no explosive pooing incidents
Egluntyne
I'd eat them myself.

The Dogmother
I'd eat them myself. Me too, and I love them; they've never made it as far as the chooks in this house!
Valkyrie
I do the same with left over chilli - they don't eat the peppers, but everything else goes (that would be number one son who doesn't like kidney beans). And it's Quorn mince - so no meat in it.
Cranfield Kate
now THAT's interesting... Do the eggs taste chilli-y after they've had it? I had a s"Ooops, word censored!" with my OH when he wanted to give them left over curry flavoured rice.
Valkyrie
Well I haven't noticed anything, but my chilli tends to be on the weak side anyway - I like to taste my food and not have numb tongue, lips and a firey bottom some time later! They wolf it down.
