Valkyrie
Hmmm that reminds me - must get out some seafood selection from the freezer. His lordship wantsies to eat it tonight. Er then I must run upstairs before the Limelight I left on the bits and bobs takes all the chrome off the taps!
Cooks
how does my lovely soup remind you of your limelite on your taps???

Valkyrie
It was my things I forgot to do while being sidetracked on here. I still haven't taken the seafood out of the freezer yet, but my bathroom is fine and then I had to blow dry my skirt because it was all wet. Played at being the Cutty Sark I did - skirt billowing like the sails. Now I must get off here at once.
Plum
Oh dear girls, just been to fat club and looks like it's all down to portion size as well as what you eat.
Cooks
yup ofcourse I eat off a smaller plate now makes me think I have the same but I dont... I am not clever enough to work that out yet...
Plum
I think I will need hypnotism to convince me a smaller plate is satisfying.

Cooks
*throws remote at plum* oi! yes a smaller plate was advised on lots of the diety websites I browsed
Space Chick
Also, to always leave something on your plate. But this goes against what I was brought up to do All my plates match, so no smaller plate for me In saying that, I have just eaten a wheelie bin full of popcorn at the pictures (Ok a medium tub, but it was still HUGE!), so I hang my head in shame
Cooks
luckily my plates have a small, medium and then a large plate so I get the medium...
henriette
C Cookie for the weight loss. That's really good. With regard to smaller portions and smaller plates, one of my neighbours was told by my doctor that she needed to lose some weight. She said she had been trying really hard and he told her to remove two of the prongs from her fork Honest!
Cooks
thanks  @ remove prongs
Valkyrie
My son managed to do that whilst angrily putting cutlery away and slamming the drawer closed - bent the prongs right out of shape. His plan worked - he was never asked again - we were running out of forks. I think you need a trip to the chippy and get those wooden forks with 2 prongs - can't eat anything with those - you'll be using fingers before you know it!
