Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Ooooops decided to pop to Smilers Farm for a 'look' and just to get some feed... hence why i only took a £10 note......

 

2 heritage skylines (jasmines) later... mind they are very beautiful!! and they do lay a very pretty blue egg, the woman showed me eggs straight from their pen... pics will follow tomorrow...

 

thats 5 new girls in 1 week.... im up to 10 now

I brought home 6 ex-batts this afternoon and am now up to 12 . I think there's a virus or something going round, chicken-acquiring seems to have been contagious this week !

They had sooo many i could have bought loads!!! lots of bantams, lots stunning cockerals loads of laying hens, is really nice place, the lady we spoke to was eggcellent!

Learning restraint is very hard!!!! We are looking for a couple more ourselves and are struggling to choose between layers, wyandottes and bantams!!!!

lol they are currently living in temp accomadation..... along with the other 3 i bought the other day, so i have 3 coop set ups in the garden at the moment... i went out for a romantic meal last night, thought is this the moment to fess up, he asked how the new 3 were getting on, i said very good then decided not to tell him about the other 2... will wait for blue egg then sweet talk him that way..... i bought u a special present.... ta darrrr..... blue egg
