My Girls

Recommended Posts

I don't think I ever introduced my girls, Twiggy, Claudia and Cindy.

This was the day after I picked them up, they are now happily installed in their eglu. Despite being named after supermodels the concept of striking a pose and standing still didn't really click!

They look so vulnerable but you are wrong they are definately striking a pose :D

They're not quite so vulnerable looking and sorry for themselves now! Barging out first thing in the morning looking for breakfast, chunnering away to themselves, I received a swift peck to the foot the other morning as I delayed a few seconds before I put one of the food bowls down!

oh bless their hearts :)

That's exactly what I think every morning, I am absolutely smitten. Have had dogs and horses all my life and have had pigs and lots of other mouths to feed along the way but these girls have really got to me on a way I didn't expect.

I think it's because they were so down-trodden and hopeless when they came and the difference in such a short space of time is fantastic, they've discovered how to scratch, no DIG!!!! They love the bit of sun we've been having. We have quite a lot of wood pigeons which they find quite facinating. They are just lovely
