Raina Posted April 2, 2010 Author Share Posted April 2, 2010 The egg that pipped after the first chick hatched is starting to hatch (It's made a big hole in the egg) The first wobbler is still wobbling (Pipped) and the third is just wobbling Fingers crossed i wake up to some healthy chicks in the morning. The little Silver/Grey coloured chick has blue eyes too Have taken some more pictures of them that i need to upload. Raina Posted April 4, 2010 Author Share Posted April 4, 2010 Thanks I don't have a clue about the colours i messaged the person my mum bought the eggs from and gave them the links to the video and pictures and they messaged back saying that their chickens will add me on facebook Well i was looking through the albums and i only saw a couple of silkies,all of them white, i think i might have seen a black silkie though I got up this morning to find the chicks scratching about on the floor so i've given them some more food and 2 of them got in the food dish and started to scratch about kicking the food everywhere Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Raina Posted April 6, 2010 Author Share Posted April 6, 2010 Bit of an Update: Well the chicks are evil little things They run round their brooder and are always doing the moonwalk looking for food (Even though they have a bowl full) They have started to fly about and are even sleeping on top of the electric hen They have all started to get wing feathers now too and aren't pecking each other as much now.
