Janepie33
When I let the girls out this morning, I spotted a half eaten pigeon under a bush in the garden. Tilly was the first to see it. She stood silently, contemplating (or so I thought) the death of fellow feathered friend. No such thoughts were in her mind. What she was actually thinking was..... BREAKFAST!! I have seen my chickens chase and eat a mouse, a frog and a multitude of minibeasts, but I have never seen them pick clean a pigeon carcass. Not the best sight to greet you first thing in the morning. One of the girls even tried to eat a foot. Whole!
