The Dogmother
I hear that big pants are back in fashion now after the recent popularity of thongs - perhaps we ought to have a poll A recent newspaper article said that thongs are passe and 'chav'. Phil says that girls pants of any size are just fine by him!

SarahJo
I think when I said "say Cheese" ... she thought there was another cheese stripper coming, as they had just had Bens from his lunch box. .
Cate in NZ
Just had a peek at the photos Sarah, lovely I'm really tempted to buy one, pink was my first choice but that olivey-sludgey colour is actually far more attractive than I thought it would be, and it looks as if it would go with just about anything. I might just have to place an order . Did it take long from ordering to delivery? Also, do you think it'll iron OK? I'm afraid that I've got a bit of a thing about crisply ironed t-shirts, don't like the crumplrd look, but I've got a few t-shirts that simply never seem to iron up nicely. Oh, boy, I'm so sad, fretting about ironong
Popcorn
Sarahjo - does your T-shirt have size 16 in the back neck label or does it say XL? My T-shirt arrived this morning, and I asked for a size 16 and it's come with XL in the back. It fits ok, like you say, with a bit of breathing space, but I'm unsure whether to send back and ask for one size smaller in L, it does seem a bit big on the chest area with me having fried eggs

I'm afraid that I've got a bit of a thing about crisply ironed t-shirts, don't like the crumplrd look, ... Oh dear ... hope the pics don't show it, but I am wearing it straight out of the Jiffi bag it was posted in . I think it will iron well ... on reverse of course, so as not to spoil the printing. . Sarahjo - does your T-shirt have size 16 in the back neck label or does it say XL? .. Gina, mine does say XL in the label, but as I don't like tight things, especially under the arms, this is ideal for me. I am not huge in the chest either ... but I think for me this is just right. Nicola H
Oh I am glad the size 16 is big in the chest area it should fit me then............... I sent for mine yesterday hope it arrives soon.
Sheilaz
As soon as my T-Shirt arrives Mel, I'll post a model-esq photo of myself in the appropriate posing position (breathing in) so you can see the juxtaposition of my hair colour against the Olive Green (Sheila will know what I mean there!) Exquisite literary skills, Gina! My sludge ( olive green) arrived today. Family at having a chicken on a T shirt but I shall wear it proudly. I think the colour will show off your fab hair Gina. Whereas mine will just blend in...sludge hair
The Dogmother
You'd better stop talking about how they fit on the chest, or you'll get those boys on here again!
Mel (& Paul)
When we went to China I bougt a couple of silk blouses - I am normally a size 12(ish ) but the blouses are XXL (mind you a chap I met over there who was fairly big bought a t-shirt - size GIANT!!!! I am really tempted to get a t-shirt - might see if I can pick one up with my eglu (have I mentioned I am getting another eglu ) Now that we have proper sizes in green and, hopefully, proper sizes in pink shall we ask James for colours to match our eglus
hillfamily
Can we pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeee and pretty please have the pink t-shirt in the larger sizes. You've managed to get the olive in these sizes but some of us more voluptuous ladies(well me anyway) would like to wear Hot Pink - it would match my wellies so much better Yes Mel we do know you're getting another eglu - I'm soooooooooo jealous I want one right now otherwise I might stamp my pretty pink and green wellies!!!! Pam but also really wants aswell Babs Ginger plus I must mention the rest of the zoo as they get a bit jealous Jack and Poppy the cats Kevin the House Rabbit (mini lop) Nibbles the guinea pig Snowflake the hamster Daisy and Malcolm the tortoises oh and Ollie and Charlie the kids!! Cate in NZ
Sorry Mel, must have missed that somewhere, did you say you're getting another eglu I'd second the idea of t-shirts to match our eglus, I'd love an orange one
Mel (& Paul)
Well, James did ask what we wanted!! I suggest we all start nagging him, oops , mean asking him for big pink t-shirts and also t-shirts in the colours of our eglus!! Actually, I see that Andy, unfortunately is selling his eglu and chooks - if it had been another colour than green we may have been tempted to add to our rainbow attempt
Cate in NZ
I know what you mean- there is something seriously addictive about these eglus. I've been muttering about Rablu's (especially in pink) - was seriously impressed with the one that I saw at the Ardingly show. Hubby rolls his eyes whenever I mention it , and I suspect that 3 eglus would be getting a bit greedy. As well as damaging to the garden and the bank balance . I'm not visiting the 2nd hand eglu section any more- banned by hubby (but do tell me if you ever see a pink rablu listed in there )
Mel (& Paul)
I'll keep an eye out. Of course you could just say that instead of having another eglu or rablu you could sell up and move to somewhere more rural so you could have a large "ordinary" wooden coop. Far more sensible than just another £200 - £300 for a second hand eglu!

Cate in NZ
I've tried that one He's all for downsizing, buying some rundown old croft or cottage somewhere, giving up work, swapping our cars for a tractor, my LK Bennets for wellies, growing our own veg, keeping assorted livestock etc. I want to do about half of that, ie still having his salary and some contact with the everyday luxuries that comes with living close to civilisation and having a regular income brings. Of course he could just be double bluffing

Popcorn
My sludge ( olive green) arrived today. mine will just blend in...sludge hair I've decided to keep the one that arrived. I have some chicken fillets somewhere I can always pad out the top half with, as everywhere else fits lovely. Breathing space a good thing.
