Janty
Peregrine, my broody brahma has decided that she's not broody anymore just after I cleaned out an eglu for her and got it all comfy with feeders and drinkers. I'll keep the eggs on hold until tomorrow...see how she goes.
Griffin
I've got an awkward Nelly She's been broody for about a week. I got some freebie Wyandotte eggs from a friend on Sunday. Moved Nelly to the garage with the eggs on Monday. This morning she'd kicked one egg out which was fine because I thought five was too many for her anyway. She seemed happy on four. This afternoon she was pacing up and down and the eggs were cold Put her ladyship back outside with everyone else and put the eggs in the incubator with my fingers crossed. So what did she do? Went straight to her coop and sat on some eggs laid earlier Flat as a pancake and back in full broody mode Will now see if she'll be happy in a rabbit hutch with her friends eggs before trying again with the mightbedead Dotte eggs

Janty
Peregrine was flat as a pancake in the cube this morning so I moved her into an empty eglu and run and gave her some eggs. She went out into the run, dug herself a hole the width of the run and then squarked at everything leaving the eggs alone. Needless to say, the eggs are now in the R-com and Peregrine is back in the main run.
Griffin
These girls are so silly. Nelly has taken to growling now that she's in her nest box. I'm picking up the rabbit hutch on Friday. I'm hoping that if I candle the eggs that night I might be able to see if anything is happening with them
