Stu58
Pics of new chickens and run - naughty chickens fell asleep on the kitchen side whilst we were outside finishing off the run, please excuse the mess in the pics. I hope the link works.
chicken bark
I like the different levels in your run. My chickens have never set foot in the house! At least yours didn't knock anything over. They must be really well behaved as well as sweet.

scarlettohara
It's lovely - I'm very envious of all these WIRs
Stu58
Thanks for your comments. Can anyone tell me please where I can buy clear tarpaulin for the roof? The WIR is not covered at the moment. I have put some straw down which has become a wet stinky mess, we will be using easibed once the roof is covered. I'm not sure the chickens like their new run yet, they are being quite noisy and I have today found a half eaten egg. I will give them some grit later and hope this helps. They have previously been kept on grass (mud!) do you think they mind being on paving slabs? They do get to free range but only when we are home. The newbies are happy and are very friendly already. I'm really pleased with them, fingers crossed the intros go well.
