craftyhunnypie
Ooo it's a bit like a yurt. I'd like one too to sit & knit or crochet in - lovely! Emma.x
Looney
Oooh I like it! But, I like to have a messy / wet boot area that is separate to the lovely dry main tent...

Groovychook
Ooh! We've got one of those!! It's up in the garden at the moment, complete with tea light chandelier and lots of rugs and cushions! I even have butterflies decorating the guy lines! It's lovely to take camping, although it weighs a ton! You can roll the sides up too on a hot day and use it as a giant canopy. docsquid
We used to have bell tents in the Girl Guides. They leaked like mad if you touched the canvas, and were also very heavy and cumbersome to put up. Like the glam interior though!

Chook n Boo Mum
I wonder if DH would like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4-metre-285gm-Cotton-Canvas-Bell-Tent-/120583978566?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_SportsLeisure_HikingCamping_Tents_JN&hash=item1c135d7e46 for Father's Day Sha x
Snowy
I saw that one - but read the small print - it says this is a dodgy batch, the poles are too short! I'd really like one of these: ***Pyramid Tent*** Small enough for me and the boys to do some weekend camping on our own, but still lovely thick cotton canvas. I've bought one of the Aldi tents - very impressive for £60 but having now experienced a cotton canvas tent, I didn't realise how much nicer it would be compared to polyester canvas Think I might need to save up again! rosie
That might be the only way I could be persuaded to go camping? Snowy-did you ever go to Billesdon gymkhana/show a couple of years ago? Their ladies loo tents were quite famous and just as good as that tent if not better Had a sitting area, flowers around the wash basins. Made port-a-loos into something else. Chook n Boo Mum
It does look fantastic once set up, but I don't think I'd have room for everything we take normally plus all the extra "glam" stuff I love those windbreaks on the first clip.........I want, want , want I agree Snowy, canvas...real canvas is great except it's weight....especially when wet I've got the book from this site http://www.thehappycampers.co.uk/..................makes glamping seems so easy lots of yummy recipes too Sha x
Chook n Boo Mum
I did notice the shortened centre pole message, but at the time it was only £72, I bet it's gone up before the end.......and DH wouldn't really like it for Father's Day anyway.........pipe dreams Sha x
Egluntyne
I liked the en suite - otherwise known as a blue tubtrug.
Aunty e
I have one of those. It's not especially difficult to put up, I managed it on my own when I was seven months pregnant. It's such a joy not to get woken up by the heat in the morning, and I love that I can stand up in it. It's never leaked either, not even in torrential rain OH refuses to camp, and I'm taking Mog with me to Devon this year, so I suspect I shall be forced to stay in a flat until she's a bit older. Snowy
I've seen a few Mums who camp alone with the children using the pyramid style tents as they are only one pole and can be pitched single handed AuntyE - let OH go stay in his flat and take Mog away in the bell tent, she will love it! Groovychook
Hi Snowy, Photo's of our tent as promised... had a nightmare with photobucket- didn't let me rotate one of the images and wasn't at all happy about me resizing them either! Hope these are clickable- I'll try again if not! By the way- we bought our tent direct from Holland. We had to do a bit of pigeon translating from the website but it saved us a fair bit of money- much cheaper than buying from the British websites & the carriage was more reasonable too! We also bought an inner tent for it which has a built in ground sheet... it fills half of the tent and is good to use on chillier camping nights. We bought that from a website in Belgium- again, much cheaper than the British sites. Could've got carried away and included lots of pics of cats & dog lounging around in the tent... I'm sure they think we put it up just for them!

The Dogmother
We used to have bell tents in the Girl Guides. They leaked like mad if you touched the canvas, and were also very heavy and cumbersome to put up. Like the glam interior though! We did too, put me off camping for life! This one looks nice, but seems to lack the hot power shower
