3.6m Omlet Chicken Run for sale, Brand New in Boxes, Milton Keynes (MK19)

I know they will prob not try anything new and will be very cautious (sp?) and will not try it.... but I thought I would put a couple of raspberries, one showed a little interest but nope nothing yet!!.. The more confident one (they have names but not allocated them yet)

Ah scary food! I chucked some strawberries that had gone slightly over to mine once and my greedy Rhodes wolfed them down, but my terrified Indian Game ran away screaming!

 

Talking about scary food, I gave this year's chicks an old tray of lettuce plants a week ago. It took them ages to pluck up courage to investigate ......

I gave my entire crop of redcurrants (all 17 of them, yes, that's 17 redcurrants, not 17lbs!!) to my three girls, they went absolutely mental for them, so am planning to pick some blackberries for them soon as something else new for them to try!

I do have some but they are not that gd through the bars but you can just make out the rasberries on the ground lol. will put them on as soon as i load them up.

Taking any kind of food into the run for ours is like taking your life in your hands - talk about relatives of Dinosaurs they devour absolutely anything I get set upon for whatever is in my hands including cleaning products My dear little Pterodactyls

eversince we got the new 3 the original girls have started to make a racket in the mornings, i gave them some corn on the cob and as soon as i walked in they were jumping at it lol

Mine all love strawberries, they are next to the strawberry patch and got all the manky ones chucked over the fence to them. They'were like little vultures.

This year I grew some lovely blackcurrants. Only turned my back for a few mins, and the girls had eaten the lot. Oh well beats the squirrel getting them.

Mine wouldn't of touched that.

They only seem to eat, bread, mealworms, meat, mashed potato. If i gave them anything green they would ignore it.. Spoilt chooks!

Try runner beans mine adore these but only get the top and tail 'cos I adore them too.
