There's a queue Babs the pekin was £5'er from the farm, think the most for pure breeds was about £20. I think our hybrids were £12, 3 years ago - got a hybrid grower from the farm a few weeks ago for £14.50. amc Posted September 1, 2010 Share Posted September 1, 2010 Wylye Valley Chickens rear rare breeds and I have just bought some all 16 weeks for £25 each - amazingly good value when you see how well cared for they are, vaccinated etc. I've had ex-batts too at 50p each!! I think chicken keeping means you go through phases, bit of Gucci one year, bit of Petticoat Lane Market the next!! And come out the other end all the more knowledgeable for the experience!
