Omlet cube and run

Firstly... hello everyone

 

ive been looking around the forum for a few days while deciding what colour to buy but have finally decided and ordered a lovely pink eglu so excited

 

have had my lovely girls for four months now and decided its time to upgrade their accomodation.

 

thought i would post on here with like minded people as i know my hubby isnt going to be half as excited as i am!

Know what you mean, we've had our eglu go for 2wks now and love it. I've got two 10wk old orphingtons and feel like a nervous new mother. I keep watching them to see if they're o.k.

We've just took delivery of our lovely ladies and their pink palace Eglu today

 

So far, so good and one of them has even laid an egg for us!!

ive booked the 48hr delivery so hopefully coming on friday

 

i think hubby might have been 'slightly' more interested if i hadnt ordered pink! although eventually he grudgingly admitted as i do all the cleaning then i can have the eglu ... and choose the colour

just got my order confirmation and it says 'omlet delivery' rather than the 48hr delivery i thought i selected, does anyone know how long this takes? thank you, sarah

oooh congrats on your new . I would really love to have that colour on mine but had to compromise with hubby and go for green. . Still thats better than no chickens at all.

one more sleep... lol was saying that yesterday about my boy going back to school i would have settled for green or purple were my other choices, although i love pin ki was worried it might be a bit bright (small garden) but hey ive told the girls all about there new pink palace although for some reason i am more excited so far.... got a feeling they will be very impressed tomorrow though

Todays my day too

but it won't go up until weekend - hubby needs to make alterations to the WIR - the classic is going tobe replaced with the . I only order cube, no wheels, no run - just cube

finally an update! sorry havent been quicker.

well it came on the specified day, well some of it did! was missing the extension run and several smaller items from my order. i phoned omlet and they were Very helpful, reordered all the missing bits and said they would collect if i ended up with doubles. a couple of days later the delivery man turned up with my extension.... a bit confused as he said ive got this box for you but i should have 5! um yess ive already had the other 4 lol lol

 

then a few days later two more big boxes turned up, filling my kitchen as these were now spares, i phoned omlet up today to arrange collection and the lady said she would call the courier to find out when collection would be and ring me back - which she did a few minutes later and advised the courier would collect today! and they did!!

 

so although it was a pain not getting my full order altogether, omlet were very helpful and dealt with the issues very well

 

so the girls seem happy, they werent at all sure what to do the first night they just kept looking towards their old coop in their WIR (the eglu will go in there when weve renovated it) and didnt want to go in, they eventually firgured it out though

 

I will try and get some photos up asap

 

one question though...........how do you poo pick in the eglu run? lol

Ummm - my delivery was very similar to yours

Some boxes one day and some the next and then the next - eventually after 3 deliveries I got all the parts. I only ordered the plastic bits of the cube, no wheels, no run. It did finally arrive but Omlet do have problems with the company they use for delivery.

Just as well I didn't have coopless chickens otherwise I would have been stuck.

I will post some pictures over the weekend - as we had to modify the WIR to fit the .

After months of reading this very helpful forum and trying to find a second-hand eglu at a reasonable price I finally found one! :D Hopefully I can get it home really soon and can start getting all the things together before going to get my girls. Can't wait!
