Janepie33
Any one been to one of these? Are they worth a visit? I'd like a good quality pair of flat black boots but don't want to pay the earth for them!
Looney
I've been to the Clarks outlet shop at Street (in Somerset) and they tend to stock a wide range of shoes and boots. The prices are pretty reasonable compared to full retail price. OH quite often gets his work shoes from there.
chick wiggle
Theres one near me in Doncaster and its very good, i got a pair of sandals from there about 5 years ago. They come out every summer and are still my most comfortable pair, they cost me £15 and worth every penny!

The Dogmother
I go to the one at Bicester Village, I hav had some great boots and shoe bargins. Me too, although it's an awful bun fight and full of rude people. I have got great deals on Rosie's school shoes in there. Like most of Bicester Village, you either see loads you like, or nowt at ll. I have to really need to go though as I hate shopping/Bicester Village.
Griffin
I've been to the one at both Swindon and Bicester. It's the same as all shoe shops though, if you're a size 8 the choice is limited, usually just the one rack whilst all the other sizes have approximately 7 million shoes to choose from
Old Speckled Hen
We have one at K Village here in Kendal. It's very popular with tourist buses disgorging day trippers into it at regular intervals. Good value, vast array of styles and sizes. Not the best quality in the world. yvonne
I live very close to the Clarks outlet in Street (as far as I know, it's the only Clarks one). There are LOADS of shoes, but not always a full range of popular sizes (as you would expect). I also have used the Outlet Village in Bicester (best for clothes in my opinion) and the one in Swindon - the largest and one with widest range of shops. All are well discounted, but a bit hit or miss in terms of what is available on any given day. If you do come out to Clarks, it is only about 5 miles from Glastonbury which is worth a visit (Ididn't realise how close they were before I lived here). Shirl
I you mean the Clarks outlet shops as in Clarks shoes then I've been to the Freeport one. I find it fine for me because I take size 5 and look for normal black boots as oppossed to anything fancy but for the children I have specific things in mind so don't have the same level of success. Janepie33
Made a special trip to the Clarks Factory shop in Fulham in the torrential rain, only to find out it closed down yesterday!! Decided not to trek up to Elephant and castle to the nearest outlet, but went to Westfield shopping centre in Shepherds Bush instead! Bought an umbrella, had lunch with a friend at GBK and came home. Had a nice day out and discovered a train line I didn't know existed but I didn't get the flat black boots I'd planned to buy. Think I'll try again next week. ubereglu
I've been to the one in Street several times-usually to buy school shoes, (although I don't have to buy any now!!!) They're very good for smaller feet, but not so good for anything in a size 8/9, (Me). I tend to avoid Clarks shoes though now as they wear out so quickly if you wear them a lot of the time and tend to buy my shoes from the joules clothing outlet at Clarks village in Street instead as their shoes tend to fit me and they usually have 8s in stock at a very reasonable price.
