Sooo much pooping

Keen to tidy up the scalloped edges on my lawn created by my girls , I bought some rigid black garden netting, cut it to half the height and attached it with garden ties to the bottom half of the Omlet netting.

 

Result . The girls can't get their heads through and it also reduces the debris they kick onto the lawn . It's almost invisible too .

 

I'm also using it for separating my old girls from the new girls .

ANH - where did you get it from? That would solve my bantam problem. I can't let them free range alongside the big ones as they just walk through the holes!

Mine do that as well. Good idea ANH You can move it forward to the edge of the grass now or grow flowers there that they can't touch

I got it at Klondyke - it was wrapped up but you can probably buy the length you need off those big roller things.

 

Get the rigid type as it stands up by itself and doesn't need so many garden ties .

I'm sure any of the garden centres would sell something suitable (or B&Q?) .

Fab idea, starting to get fed up with the raggy edges!

Most garden centres sell it, either in a pack or by the metre. I used it at the old house to fence off the vegetable patch and keep the beaks out!!
