Egluntyne
Lovely. That's a heck of a tarpaulin you have over the whole set up.
jimnpaula
I got them from a lady who advertised on Gumtree. I was really only looking for an eglu, but there was this fantastic offer of eglu (in a colour I wanted!) 3 hens (bonus) and a walk in run (hmm, ok, could be useful) for £300. Also got all her spare chicken bits as she was giving them up. The run is part of Whoopsie's empty eglu setup, still on loan after Topaz's sickness. The tarpaulin came from tarpaulins direct and I bought one that was definitely big enough for the cube run plus it's 2 extensions - when I set up the eglu run + extension I had a feeling it would fit over quite well. It should fit over the walk in run quite well too - that's next weekends project: putting the cube on the outside, the eglu on the inside and the 2 flocks together. jimnpaula
As everyone's so interested that tarp came from http://www.tarpaulinsdirect.co.uk, is 4m by 3m and described as Monotex clear. Add some elastic ties and p&p comes to £35.74. Well worth it to keep the bedding dry. Not that they've got bedding at the moment - the cube has been moved off the slabs to make way for the WIR. Anyway, the poos on the grass won't get wet and start to smell worse. P
