welovemarmite
We just went to put them to bed and we have one missing. We dont think anything has taken her and think she went on her own as we have seen no sign of feathers and it is just her that has gone, the 5 others are fine. Had a scout round for her but cant be found.... night night tikka...

welovemarmite
we have already done that. we have wooded area behind us and had a look round there. They are all trained to the shake of the treat box as that means bedtime to them. did that all round the field and wooded bit behind us and nothing. welovemarmite
thanks, although not that hopeful. We are very rural so dont think she would survive out there on her own.

welovemarmite
she didnt come back... the pecking order seemed to be out already so decided to go and get two new ones before they settled again. So this lunchtime we got tikka two (the one that went missing was tikka and step daughter insisted this is what it should be called) and masala. Thats a goldline and a very pale skyline to everyone else...
Chortle Chook
I still hope that Tikka 1 comes back for you even if that means you'll have a naming dilemma. If that happens you'll just have to get even more hens so that you can call out 'Tikka number 2' and 'Tikka number 3' etc. Do keep us posted. welovemarmite
i dont think she will be back, but you have made me giggle, instead of using the curry menu i could have used the chinese menu and called them all numbers.....
