percy049
Nice to see them feathered up :0. Our ex-free range were in a poor state when we got them, but soon feathered up to. when they have their moult, there feather markings and colours change (well, ours did anyway!) the-real-tinkerbell
mine do to lol my big girls are only intrested if i have the corn bucket but my ex batts will follow me to the end of the earth ,in fact i nearly took one to the shop with me the other day , we were all in the garden i i needed to go shop my mum stayed with the kids and i got round the corner when i kid on the street was laughing and pointing at me i turned around to find merideath behind me lol
cooker
Thats hilarious! wished I'd seen it! and very cute. I love it when mine follow me around...Our most cleverest chicken, Ruth, will stop whatever she is doing and run at me if she ever sees me with a digging implement in hand, her favourite is the garden fork, but we have equally good results with the spade and trowel. She does make digging a little difficult, often standing on the fork prongs, but its much more enjoyable! Rachel
the-real-tinkerbell
i must say merideath is my fav she just has something about her ,when they arrived if im honest i thought i would loose her ,she just sat in the corner then had to be isolated for antibiotics . i thought it would all be to much for her . but she suprised me and she is the cheekiest out of the lot ,like i said she has tried to come to the shop ,ive had next door bring her home twice the first time she was perching on her kitchen window sill tapping on the glass lol and if i come inside when they are FRing she heads in the back door in to the kitchen to see what im up to lol ,my 3yr old was in a state lol im sat on the loo and all i can hear is him shouting i came running downstairs in a panic to mind her perching on the fire hearth with him trying to shu her out lol there will always be room in our family for exbatts the is and always will be our retirement home lol
