Egluntyne
Spotted outside a shop in Millhouses, Sheffield, yesterday. Nearly twice what I pay elsewhere.

The Dogmother
Good grief. I was told an interesting fact about hemp bedding the other day.... apparently it's a by-product of part of the hemp plant used to make something or other for car interiors - the slump in the car industry means that not so much is being grown/produced, hence the shortage at the moment. ali-s
I paid £12.95 for Hemcore the last time I cleaned out the WIR. I used 2 and a half bags, could have put it all down but wanted to keep some back to use in the nest box. I probably paid more because of the diesel used to get it up here. My local supplier sells Hemcore or wood shavings. I am looking into an alternative but it involves travelling a fair distance to buy it and means more petrol costs for me.
