Yippee, I was hoping it might be something like that.

So......now I can have a long look in the shop and start a list

Did I imagine it or was there a thing in the brochure I got through the door about trading in your elgu when you buy a cube? Not that it helps me now.

Yep

I think it was £200 towards the cube, for a mk2 classic

Oh no! Was it entirely necessary to bring this to my attention!?!?! I keep having a sneaky look at Cubes but think "no, it's too much money and I've already got an eglu" but then you tell me I can part exchange my eglu for a cube, aaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhh

[poachedegg]

Is it a trade up or trade in? ie do you give them your eglu? If not how do they know you have one as you may have bought it 2nd hand? If you have to trade it in then you would get more than £200 for an eglu anyhow.

Not getting one - just interested.

[susanb]

you have to give them your classic back - they send boxes for it!

Do you think we can get more than £200 for a classic elsewhere.....is there still a strong market on ebay?

I agree!

Is that really right that you can trade in your Classic for a cube - if so that could really help as I'm not far off my cube target (and not very optimistic that my OH has realised - after two years - that what I really want for Xmas is a cube). I never receive brochures and can't find any more info on the site. If this is right, how long does the trade in deal run for?
