abwsco
Yesterday afternoon I went over on one of my ankles in one of the craters the girls have dug I hadn't realised the the hole was frozen solid so my fault really as I walked on the side of it. By mid evening I couldn't put any weight on my foot at all. I had to go up the stairs on my bottom to bed Really thought it would be a trip to A & E this morning as it was soooooo painful. Luckily, my ankle hasn't ballooned up and I can walk on it albeit it slowly and carefully.

Blackrocksrock
ouch take care if still sore still go and see about it = I did mine about 10 weeks ago and the ankle is still not completely down in the swelling and difficult to remove from wellies - and it was not broken. ( did not go to doctor)

Blackrocksrock
I go go a lady for my back and she gave me ruta as she reckoned I had bruised the bone - periostial rather than ligaments - its ok most of the time but stiff! and a bit swollen still. I keep moving it to keep it mobile! ach I will survive!

OMG, I'm sorry I'd no idea you broken your ankle. I've just done a search and read your post Luckily I managed to stop myself going over completely as DH was inside the house engrossed on a game on the PS3. I'd have been missed at some point but lord knows when Am not sure how I'd have got back to the house as I was in the sectioned off area of their WIR so would have had to climb over that first before I could even get out of the WIR into the garden. I made sure I took my mobile with me when I went to lock them in before!
