We lost one of our original Gingernut Rangers in the night. She had been with us since Mar 08 and was a lovely gentle hen. She hadn't laid for well over 6 months so I think it was just the exceptional cold weather and old age that finished her off. We will miss her. Only our second chicken death, very sad.
