Ain't Nobody Here
My SIL gave my son a lovely leather wallet for his 18th which he uses every day. Her son is 18 next week and I can't think what to give him . (He already has a leather wallet!) Any ideas? I've searched on the forum but the only similar thread was for girls. (There was a great idea of a CD of No 1 records for each birthday but I'm not sure if he'd appreciate that!) I wondered about just going to Next and trying to get him a shirt or jumper (and giving him the receipt!) but something more enduring would be better. CatieB
I personally don't like the Next shirt or jumper idea as its not commemorative (sorry if spelt wrong) and if he is like most 18 year olds are you likely to get anywhere near his taste? However I like your music idea, what about an itunes voucher (or similar) to cover 18 songs of his choosing that remind him of his 18 years - you could put an explanatory note in the card?? Chucky Mama
What about some Port or wine to set aside?

Janty
My son would love the cufflinks idea but he does love his shirts. What about a watch? You could take a look in the sales and maybe pick up a bit of a bargain.
Snowy
Or an ipod shuffle? The little tiny ones are quite cheap now.
chuckmum6
I bought my niece and nephew a watch from amazon when they were 18. A gift that could last a life time!
