I watched for maybe 3 or 4 years when it started but haven't watched for a long time. Whenever I see it, actors are shouting & moody so I don't see the point. If we see or hear of real people behaving badly we say they're having an Eastenders moment.

It's a pity because it was good fun originally.

Stopped watching it years ago, it's so all the time . If I live there I would be off like a shot. Now nothing could make me miss Corrie but thats getting just as bad.

We're not alone - the BBC have had over 5000 complaints.....and that's just from the people who could be bothered.

 

I stopped watching Eastenders, Corrie and Neighbours a few years ago but gradually crept back to them. I think I must like my Tourettes outbursts perhaps they're good for me? I often catch the end of Weakest Link and spend all my time shouting "BANK!! you idiot" - or words to that effect I had plenty to say about the man in Homes Under The Hammer today who removed all the original features from a period house

 

I agree about the baby being left for a long time - everyone knows that in the first few weeks the baby is put in the middle of the lounge for all to sit and gaze at ......and especially in those first few hours upon returning home! - both babies were left alone........and where is Ronnie's mother?? ....... oh, I know......bed hopping too busy to visit her daughter who has just had a baby

Ahhh just saw that in the news!! And that they had 5000 complaints. It's good that shes decided to leave, she is having the worse story lines and it must be horrible to have to play & live these stories. Oh well, as someone else said, they get paid enough for it! Soaps have to do drastic storylines to get people viewing them though, if it was all fun and games who would want to watch that! I think they have gone a step too far with this one though...

I watched Eastenders last night and was amazed - there seemed to have been a tinsel storm - all colours types strewn over window sills, pictures the blooming stuff was everywhere. Then watching Corrie there was some more - not as much thank goodness - Elstree studios where Benders is filmed must have got a job lot and sent some to Corrie Just hope it doesnt migrate down to NW London

The talking head scene between the two dimbo bimbos was priceless. Methinks the handing back of the baby has been brought about by the public outcry though???

I heard they were going to reveal the baby swap in xmas 2011, but because of the complaints they are getting it done with now Tonights episode seems like it was just a filler, had no real purpose Ah well, lets hope the writers come up with a better story line next time

I must admit the scene between the girls was quite peculiar and seemed like it had just been slotted in. It was quite funny though and a bit of light relief in between some very sad scenes.
