Help (before I go and open the 4 large bars of Green and Blacks in the kitchen) cathy x
Snowy
Eek! I hate that feeling - it's when I usually succumb to something silly and blow the whole days efforts! Have you got any options hot chocolate? I've got some in the cupboard for emergency chocolate requirements. Or clean your teeth - I never feel like eating with clean teeth! Couperwife
I had a mince pie but now I feel better and im not seeing it as spoiling, im not feeling well at the moment, so just not eating all the stodge in sight is making me feel good thanks for the idea though Snowy, I had never thought of that one before cathy x
Goosey Lucy
Well I've finally got around to joining Weigh"Ooops, word censored!"chers tonight and nearly hit the floor when I stood on the scales. I'm the largest and heaviest I've ever been except for maybe when I was 9 months pregnant. So it's Propoints for me from now on. I'm determined to get fit and lose weight - another colleague from work came too. OH has promised me £10 per pound lost and kept off. Miffy, I love your photos, they are truly inspiring. And I love the tip about brushing your teeth Snowy So I'll be back here in a week with hopefully good news. I'm off to brush my teeth now!
Snowy
I've just succumbed to a cup of hot choc and a couple of those Go ahead yoghurt bars. But I have been very good today and had some points to spend before bed!
craftyhunnypie
I lost 3lbs at my WW weigh in last night. I wanted to do a little dance smiley , but we don't seem to have one that would match how I feel. In my 29 daily propoints & my 49 slush - I even went out twice - steak & jacket one time - then a Beefeater steak, chips & onion rings - followed by chocolate cheesecake! Yes you can still live & lose weight. I had no alcohol though. Emma.x
miffy
I'm so glad of this thread, its helped me stay on track and lose 3lb this week...... only another 4.5lb to lose to be back to my pre xmas weight..
Griffin
I didn't get to go to my weigh in because I've got two poorly little people at home
Bramble
Is anyone doing the new WW ProPoints system? Just wondering as I'm concerned that fruit is "free" - I think I've decided to count all fruit as 1 propoint, otherwise I'll find myself eating it just for the sake of eating it . What do you all do and is WW ProPoints working for you?
sage
Hi Can I join in please. I havent a clue what I weigh but I know it's stupid lbs . I need to get rind of about 4 stone. I would love to loose 1st for Easter. My problem is I love cooking & baking & eating. No such thing as small portions in my house. Sage
Griffin
All fruit is free and i don't worry at all about the amount I consume of it. I eat the most when I'm bored and I try to make sure it's just fruit now. I take grapes, apples & pears to work with me to munch on throughout the day. Thanks Griffin, I guess it's working for you then!!? I just worry that I think I went wrong on Slimming World 'cos I ate too much fruit 'cos it was free . Maybe if I don't point it but limit it to say 5-a-day of fruit that might be better?
Lesley
We were told to limit bananas but not to worry about the rest - the 29 P P s have an allowance for a 'normal' amount of fruit so if you don't eat it you are actually eating too little. I was doing that and wasn't losing weight.
craftyhunnypie
Yes we were warned a bit about bananas too. I have a vitamix smoothie with my fruit, which I put one banana, a mango & some frozen strawberries in - along with a bit of water. It's yummy & does me & hubby 2 servings each. So one banana into 4 servings isn't bad & it's so filling. One lady at my class had over indulged on fruit & had a very poorly tummy. Snowy
Not lost anything this week, but I realised that before I even weighed myself! I felt so bloated! I know I've been good though, so hopefully will see the results next week.
miffy
ay my SW meeting, some people find too many grapes can sabotage their weight loss as well as bananas. For me bread is a BIG problem...just treat myself to toast once in a few weeks (with butter )
Lesley
With butter is good - far better a small amount of real butter than the evil margarine

sage
So pi**ed off. Put my name down for a weight loss trail. Thought this would give the big kick up the bum I need. Just got an email back saying they only want people with a BMI off less than 30. Know wonder there is so much dieting cr*p out there if they only test slightly overweight people. Anyway don't need them I can do this on my own. They can shove it where the sun don't shine and swivel. Sorry about the rant. Sage
