Egluntyne
Have a look at this site. click. One of my favourites. The instructions for flowers are beautifully clear. I've used a lot of her patterns, and they always work. Her photographs are to die for, especially of crochet, and glorious, delicious looking food. Goosey Lucy
I'd second Egluntyne's advice, I love Lucy's site and have made a few things from there

I've just made the flower from this site and it turned out well. I really need a lot of bits of colours, where can I get some cheap? Used to have some good mills near me when I lived in Ossett. freddie
Charity shops!!! Really good for needles, hooks, wool, etc etc, esp thje smaller independant ones, rather than the "chain" ones, if you get my drift! You may have to ask, as it's put away safe, esp the needles, in case we all run amock and start trying to do each other in with our size 4 circular needles
Plum
It was yarn I meant but the same applies. Went to charity shops for needles and hooks last year while in dishcloth making mode but they didn't keep them - health and safety reasons
freddie
if you need needles etc, try me 1st as our local little ch shop has a great big basket full, stashed behind the counter. I've bought circular ones here and posted them off to someone on here before.............
Plum
Thanks freddie I'll remember that. Doing them with a 3.50 hook at moment and seems to work.
jbiggs
I think crochet flowers always look so beautiful and easy to make but it is so difficult. I once tried to crochet one but I failed miserable. My plan was to crochet different beautiful flowers and use it as a gift for my mum but as I said it did not work out and so I had to send some flowers in order to make her happy. What I have learnt is that to crochet flowers is very tricky but flowers UK delivery works perfectly.
