Dropped my Driving Licence...

Recommended Posts

:(

Was getting the train to work experience on Weds morning, got my tickets out and dropped my bus pass. Picked it up and didn't think anything of it until later in the day I realised I didn't have my driving licence! Must have fallen under the seat or something.

Rang round Arriva, National Rail, Train stations but all were useless and gave me a different number to ring. Nothing handed in.

Emailed them and got a really quick reply saying to wait 5 days (for it to be processed if it has been handed in) and if it has they'll contact me! :)

I know theres only a tiny chance of it being handed in but will try them anyway.

Think its £20 to replace, so not too bad ... just a pain!

Title did say "Lost" but I'm not that bad at driving :anxious: ... I hope!!

Ahhh I am, I can get lost in Rutland (not easy for most as it is so small):( , from about 6 DS used to say shouldn't we have gone down there

Sorry to hear about your driving licence, how annoying. You never know some kind soul may find it and hand it in.

Yes you are right, it is £20 for a new one. I've just had to fork out because my photo card licence had expired. It's a stealth tax, along with the fee for renewing a passport. Two of my daughters need theirs renewed before our holiday this year, £49 each!!!!!!!! There is no way in the world it should cost that much to change a photo

Ridiculous isn't it

Bet the driving licence costs less than £ to make, couple £ for postage + admin but £20 is bit much.

Passports are crazy prices though! Know they need to check everything etc but

Still, we have to pay it!
