Ive always used the mop heads for a surrogate mum, and the chicks do love to snuggle up under them. Im sure i read it in a book somewhere

Chickie, do you use anything diddy for them to practise roosting on? Although my newbies are only 3 weeks, it's amazing watching how they clamber over and grip the feeder!

Not until they go outside Tutti, as they are still in the brooder, if i put anything in there for them to jump or roost on, they would bang their heads on the roof they have grown so much

 

Im hoping for good weather in the next week or so, so they can go outside, it is getting abit crowded in there with 9 of the little blighters

The chicks are now outside in the eglu which is in a sectioned off part of the wir. Tonight is the their 3rd night and they have put themselves to bed! Clever little chickies
