Unsecure chicken perches

I may have mentioned somewhere earlier that i had 4 eggs in the incy which had come from my three beautiful chooks i got from Claireg, who had been with 2 of Tashs cockerels for a week before i got them. So the first 4 eggs they laid went straight in the incy They would have made interesting chicks as they were a Vorverk and an Exchequer Leghorn crossed with Black Orpingtons

Anyway, after candling, they are all duds i left them in longer for a second candle, but nope, all duds

Such a shame.

 

Soooooo, Elaine, my incy is at your disposal , and if anyone has any green egg layer eggs i can pop in there too that would be great

I'm not sure if Gustav has got jiggy with Freja yet, but she's a green egg laying legbar hybrid and as he's an araucana you should get green egg layers....Stina, my maran hybrid is also laying so again, if he's matey with her, perhaps darker brown speckled eggs?!.........you're welcome to try with any of those....

Well the eggs were all eggchanged yesterday, some even hot from the bot's of my sussex girls who were very obliging to us .

I candled last night and im not very happy, sorry guys

The shells are so thick i could only really be sure about one of the eggs, after going through 12 of them and only been able to see the one, i decided to leave the others and try again in a few days time.

I may even jsut leave them all in and see what happens
