feeling so low..

Recommended Posts

Put a load of washing on, take a brisk walk followed by a good film and a bar of chocolate.

Fresh air always makes me feel better, chocolate is a great comforter and having done a load of washing makes me feel I've not wasted the day.

Of course surfing the internet for information about chickens helps too.

Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry to hear it. Short-term fix - a Be Good to Me weekend! Buy some easy food that doesn't mean hours of cooking, a bunch of flowers, daffodils are cheap and very cheerful, some nice bathy stuff and a favourite magazine. Find some of those beauty products you never use, and have a good pampering session, watch a favourite film - just take a weekend off from worrying about things, doing things for others etc. If you had flu, you would have to stay in bed all weekend - well, sometimes there's 'emotional flu' which requires the same treatment but without the Lemsip! Hope you soon feel better.

I feel for you on that one. I have mental health problems, some days I feel like I could just sit and cry all day but when hubby asks what's wrong I can't give him an answer as it's nothing specific my usual reply ends up as "everything and nothing" as that's the only way I can explain it.

Treat yourself to something nice but don't go overboard as that just results in guilt. Try planning a nice night tonight, a relaxing bath, cuddle up on the couch with a quilt, take away and some junk food with something nice to drink and watch a feel good film but NOT a weepy.

I hope you're feeling better soon. Big HUGS.

Thanks, I had a little walk-but it had gone quite dull here so not as good as it could have been. Didnt get my coffee in town-had a call from daughter and bf and they are coming round for tea so i had to go on a mad rush to town to get something in for tea-luckily M&S still had some things left over on there 2 for £10 thing!

Aw I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling low. I suffer from depression and am on anti depressants but I still plunge into lows for no apparent reason (I was a sobbing wreck last Sunday night once everybody had gone from Omletstock and I was on my own again the silence!)

I agree with all said here, I think fresh air helps, chocolate too, and thinking about how many days until Chicken Day.

Anyway, you're coming to see me tomorrow and I'm making some Swedish Butterkaka so that's got to be good, eh?

Hugs x

Big hugs from another bi-polar here xxxxxxxx

sometimes it just hits you, and there is no reason, I've given up trying to find the reasons as sometimes thinking about why it's happening makes me feel worse.

I find setting tiny goals is the way to go for me. Normally everything seems too much to do, so I tell myself that when I next upstairs to the loo, I will bring some dirty washing down with me and put it in the machine. Then I make sure I give my self a big mental pat on the back for doing that.

Sometimes it takes me all day, and many hours to just gradually get washed and dressed and then see to the chooks, but I make sure I tell myself how well I am doing after each small step. If I think about how much I haven't or want but can't do then I would just crumble.

Keep positive, and keep coming back to us for hugs xxxxxxxxxxx

yes, I have!!! They are supposed to be ready to be picked up on april 16th, so not long now..less than a month..its actually 27 days to 'C day'..!

I'm ordering my WIR today, and picking up my Eglu later on as well..so it's all happening. I think I have pretty much everything I can, just need the food and bedding now, everything else I think I have got.

It will all be fine- I also start a new job at the begining of May-place I'm at is not the most positive, and the person who I work very closely with is also not the easiest-I was looking thru my diary the other day and I mentioned how she was looking at other jobs and I actually said 'I hope she gets it because shes so negative she brings me down'..so heer's hoping that will help too!
