Glass of white here too! :anxious:

 

Off to do the second day of my cricket coaching course tomorrow - hope it's as much fun as last week. DD has a football match in the morning and then it is her 14th birthday on Sunday and, so far, she hasn't said what she wants to do.

 

DS is working down at the local farm tomorrow and OH is juggling watching DD's football match, England v Sri Lanka and Bournemouth v whoever it is that they are playing!

Cheers everyone :)

 

Im not entirely sure what i am doing. I am hoping i can start to paint the fence in the back garden before all my bushes and shrubs get leaves on them! I am hoping to get to the farm shop to get some bits for a BBQ :)

 

had a long day at work today, left the house at 7.30am and got home 7.30pm! glad i am off monday :)

A glass of red here. I shall be finishing off putting in my stepping stones into the back garden :dance: I've done so much work in the garden this week and really really ache because of it. Planted loads of seeds - just hope they grow :pray: cleared a LOT of ivy, made safe the trampoline, removed the eucalyptus tree which sadly died and replaced it with a flowering cherry, cleared the border the tree was in of all the crocosmia as it had quite taken over the border and thinned it out a lot and then planted it back and all over the rest of the garden, and general tidying. Looks so nice now and am rather looking forward to summer 8)

I've had a half of lager tonight and have just come back from seeing The Men They Couldn't Hang in London. Tomorrow I'm back in work doing the second half of a paediatric 1st aid course and Sunday I'm planning to go to Brooklands Museum for a couple of hours in the morning as it's Mini Day, before having to go for a family lunch - which will extend into the early evening!

Yup, Friday at last! I had a happy hour in the garden with the chickens after work, sorting out the greenhouse and sowing a few seeds. I'm going out for a drink in a bit, and then I'll be spending the weekend in the garden, I hope! :D

About to go & find a glass of white....but oh dear, the weekend looks absolute rubbish :(

Sundays are always dodgy in my line of country but this weekend I lose Saturday too, as I'm running a marriage prep course for 10 couples who are marrying in my churches. I know I'll enjoy it once I get started but tonight I'm just wishing I could have a bit of time at home...want to play with my new pekins for one thing........

Never mind - though life will be manic between now and Easter, I do get the week afterwards off - and on 1st May I'm going on one of Claret's chicken courses :D

Just a cup of tea for me... but the weekend was spent digging out part of a raised bed and part of the lawn(!) in order to move the cube and leave room for the new WIR. Then digging over where the cube has been for the past few weeks and the ground has compacted from all the chicken activity...

Cheers! Out tonight to a quiz with pie & pea supper. Hmm not really my ideal night out - but it keeps our neighbour quiet. ( she wanted to go & is a widow). :roll:

 

Hoping to do some potting on of plants in the greenhouse , a bit of knitting & make a fruit cake. I might even make a Lesley inspired cake stand too. 8)

Happy weekend everyone :) i would like to say i am currently enjoying a glass of pinot noir BUT i am baking hot in the kitchen and wanted to grab something cold out the fridge... cider will have to do :oops:

 

Ive been enjoying a week off work but it still feels good that its friday!! Im celebrating by making chutney (as posted in another threadl) and making beef madras for when OH gets home. *raises glass* (well can...)
