Clever Sally has laid our very first egg and we are absolutely egggstatic!

 

The other girls were having a lovely mid afternoon dust bath rolling round in the flowerbed when we noticed that sally had sneeked back to the eglu and was sitting in the nest box. The second she emerged my daughter rushed to look and their it was OUR VERY FIRST EGG!!

 

We were all so excited

 

I want to put a pic up but I havent worked it out yet.

Ah lovely we fried our first egg and shared it between us all.

 

They often lay every couple of days when they first start to lay maybe tomorrow

when we got our first egg, we fried it and all three of us dipped white bread soldiers in it. pure nectar!

Today when I was picking the Girls up for their afternoon cuddle....Jessica crouched! Whoooo hooooo we might be getting another kind of egg soon
