Panasonic gets a vote from me too.

 

Was recommended one by others from here last year and using it 2 - 3 times a week to bake bread... its never let me down.

Another Panasonic vote from me too - used very reguarly over the last 3.5 years.

Panasonic here too...have had ours about 12 years and still going strong.

 

However, I am wondering whether Panasonic goods are still as well made as they used to be. A little over a year ago we bought a combination oven and microwave to replace our old Panasonic microwave. It is not nearly as well made as the old one. The front fascia is loose and springs open when the oven heats up; the glass turntable does not locate properly on the central device which is extremely irritating. So, IMHO although everyone is still recommending Panasonic it would be worth getting some recent reviews on their breadmakers.

I've just made a first basic white loaf in my new Panasonic SD 256. Not tasted it yet at it came out 5 mins ago, but it looks so lovely, & so much nicer than my old MR bread maker.

Panasonic - I've used mine several times a week since I bought it a few years ago so cost per use is very low. I buy bread flour by the sack from Shipton's mills.

I too have a Panasonic which I use in bursts! I have had it for about 7 years and it is very good.

I got my Panasonic two or three years ago when it was definitely still top of Good Housekeeping etc lists. No regrets - it's fabulous.
