j00lz_12366
Hi I'm looking at getting some bokashi bran and was wondering how much would I be likely to use with 4 birds? If I can get a good price for 3kgs (£17ish) will it be worth storing it? Also, do garden centres tend to stock it, a big part of the price is postage so if I could pick it up it would be better... Just off for a nap...these early mornings are a killer!
Bramble
Try Wiggly Wigglers, think there's money off and free postage 'til the end of April (I think). I've yet to find a "shop" that sells it, so I think postage is always going to be the killer, price wise!

Ain't Nobody Here
I usually buy it almost in bulk and store it successfully . I think I got my last batch from Ebay (someone in Aberdeenshire, I think!)

Ain't Nobody Here
I found the seller on Ebay I bought it from - here. I've no idea how his prices compare now though. I bought 4kg and am amazed to see that it was almost 2 years ago. I think I'm on the last bag now (but there may be another one stashed in the garage!). It's still just the same condition as when I bought it .
j00lz_12366
I think thats the one I was looking at..i'll order some when I get paid this week...thanks!
Henchanted
I think its great so I got through 1 kg in my first 2 months, so buying in bulk is no bad thing if you have somewhere dry to store it.
Henchanted
I have just ordered 6kgs for the princely sum of £23.82 which includes postage and works out at £3.90 per kilo. An eggsellent buy. Oh yeah, the website is www.bokashidirect.co.uk. £2 quid a month to keep the hens healthy and smelling sweet- bargain.
Ain't Nobody Here
Wow, that's a good price . I think my ebay bokashi was cheaper than it shows now as I bought 4kg. He only seems to sell 2kg now so I'd def go to bokashi direct next time .
