A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I've not had much time for crafting since having a baby, but I've made a few bits: A mildly disturbing pumpkin man: Sensory socks filled with squeakers, bells, lavender and crunchy pulses: Baby sunglasses case: A half-birthday sock monkey (and one for a friend): An Easter sock bunny:

A chickychickychick-ENN!!
The monkeys are Primark fluffy knee socks and the bunny is Mothercare remainder stock tights which I found in a local shop - in a size for 10 year-olds to get the length of limbs. I cut out the gusset to convert the tights into 'socks' and the bum isn't as defined as when you can use a heel from a proper sock for the bum. I wanted to put magnets in the hands and feet so they can 'cuddle' you but the magnet strength needed isn't recommended for under 8s for some reason. HENthusiastic
There is nothing MILDLY disturbing about pumpkin man wheres his head He's scary Everything else is lovely though.... well done
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
He's a stuffed babygro from a lovely friend. The poppers were at the crotch and neck with none in the middle so it wouldn't go on an underweight baby with a tiny head without much screaming, and even then the head wouldn't go through the hole. Stupid design, no receipt and despite being obviously unworn and TU labels, I had a massive row with Sainsbury's trying to get them to let me swap it in time for Halloween for the next size up. Seven emails later, Halloween was gone but they finally gave me £15 and said keep it, so I stuffed it. And now he's a man instead of clothes so baby knows she had a gift from a lovely friend. She likes him when he dances. I see it as a way of introducing her early to, er, people(?) pumpkins(?) with physical differences.
Lesley
They are all great I'm glad you haven't added the magnets - there have been big problems with those magnets which look like smooth pebbles ( can't remember what they're called) sticking the gut together if swallowed
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
OMG!!!!! I was going to sew them into really really secure pockets but OMG!!! If I ever do I'll be sure to give them to people over 40 only. And even then with caveats. Thanks for the tip off!
