sadietoo
According to this mornings newspaper, a similar child has been taken into care. Another one? good grief, what is wrong with these women?? Have you looked at any women's magazines lately?..... as women we are constantly bombarded with messages that we are just not good enough as we are..we are too wrinkly, too fat, too hairy, our nails are only nail coloured, and our hair is grey, our boobs are no longer in the right place or big enough (or too big), we have cellulite, and our teeth aren't white enough Do we ever stop to ask who decides whether or not I am good enough? Sadly when taken to an extreme, it is apparently possible to be not good enough when you are only seven (if your mum tells you so ).... those Mum's need help....but society at large needs re-educating, so that the rubbish that these magazines peddle can be seen for what it is (and yes I am including GH and Woman and Home in this ( or am I the only one that is sick of the sight of an airbrushed 60 year old on the front cover) ).Right ,now I've made myself angry I will stomp off my soap box
