Jim is a snake! I think he will really have to watch it now, I'm sure Lord Sugar doesn't like him. Poor Natasha - very bad tactics Vincent - for which you got fired - Ha! Serves you right!

I thought both names of pet food were terrible. The concept of slimline cat food was good - but stupid name & their pitch was quite bad!

Glad both of those have gone - Vincent for his stupidity in thinking of his mate & Ellie for her sheer laziness!

 

I wanted that jumping dog!

That double firing was genius (although Natasha didn't really deserve to go ).

 

That "see their light" tagline was just rubbish . Loved the way he had to explain it every time ... "it's like "see? they're light? " - err, no, that doesn't work . The packaging looked nicer than the "Any Old Mutt" brand though .

 

Actually, that's a good name for a dog food . I'm off to the Patent Office .

It was spelled 'See Their Light' though with was even more confusing I love the confused look on everyone's faces when someone tells them the tagline Even the person pitching go the wrong end of the stick with the tagline.

Great episode - really, really gone off of Jim now. What a snake. Yes it was 'my' idea for Every Dog but no I'm not taking full responsibility for it. As others have said Vincent had to go for being a wimp and not bringing in Jim. Ellie deserved to go as she just didn't push herself forward enough. I find it very strange that she's in the building business but can't make her voice heard. I would have thought she would have had to have been much stronger than that.

 

I can't warm to Natasha at all although I agree she did a good advert.

 

Glenn was very lucky that he s"Ooops, word censored!"ed through. The cat packaging was great but the name and tag line were just awful.

 

Watching the Your Fired show afterwards I thought Vincent looked slightly less Del Boyish (apart from the vile shirt, tie and suit) with his hair cut shorter.

I really like the 'You're Fired' series.... Even some candidates that appear totally appalling or unpleasant on the tasks often seem like much more decent people on 'You're Fired', once the competitive pressure is off. They also generally seem to take being the object of the jokes pretty well. It gives some of them some credibility back after they've made themselves very unlikeable on the main show.

I was so disappointed by Jim's behaviour this week. I have had to completely revise my opinion of him. I'm not sure Ellie deserved to go..others have not really shown themselves as being very impressive either, but because they are on the winning team are not put under the microscope (eg Edna, who since being that disastrous team leader has done very little as far as I can tell). Sorry but I can't take to Natasha at all, and she needs to go..good advert or not.

 

Tom is fabulous...he always looks so...excited! Melodie has the most annoying accent, but yet I feel she is one to watch for the girls. It's beginning to get interesting now...

Why didn't SurAlan get rid of Jim? - perfect opportunity. Their magazine was just awful, although I didn't think much of the other team's either.

 

I agree with ANH - Susan actually did talk a lot of sense but just needs to put her point across more strongly.

 

Team leader on the other side (name escapes me) really needs to stop saying 'yeah' at the end of each sentence. Sooooo annoying.

This episode had me shouting at the telly!...unfortunately Surlordalan, has seen something in Jim.... clearly he was the one responsible for the failure of that particular task...he single handedly ruined Zoe's idea with awful font choice and awful photo...then there was that awful pitch. Susan is the female equivalent to Tom in my opinion...she always seems to be saying something that is relevant but that the rest of the team completely ignores..

I am beginning to quite like Helen. Natasha drives me up the wall Tom and Susan both talk sense but I wonder if they are strong enough to make themselves heard when the chips are down. I went right off Jim the week before last when he showed a different side of himself that was rather mean.

I like to think I am generally an easy going person, and I really try to see the best in everyone...but if Melody isn't just about the most irritating person on the planet at the moment...I'll eat my hat.... !!

She was so lucky she was the only one who spoke French. If she hadn't, she'd just have been pushy and aggressive and probably wouldn't have made any sales .

She is awful isn't she? I'd hate to be in the competition with her. I understand though why Lord Sugar likes her as at least she has get up and go. She's just got an irritating way of speaking.

 

Helen was fantastic with Le Redoute, she said all the right things to actually show that she knew what the company was all about. Doh! Leon what was he thinking? He worked for them before.

 

I think Helen is quite well balanced all in all and probably my favourite. She doesn't have any irritating ways about her (not that I've seen yet anyway).

Ooo do they now - I quite liked those. I too like Helen & there is something about Tom I like. He's an inventor, I like inventors!

I can't stand Jim the snake, Natasha has this moody pout look & is yeah at everything & how immature was Susie this week? Oh my god, she made me cringe.

I think Helen & Tom in the Final. I think Lord Sugar sees a lot in Tom & Helen is just so ultimately professional.

Melody is sooo cocky & can talk for England ( & France).

Who's the Sandbach lass? Is her name Sophie? Not keen on her either!

I was soo disappointed that Zoe was fired in this week's episode...especially as Melody is still there

 

Did anyone catch the after show? I'm not sure what they had done to Zoe's hair, but she looked like Princess Anne in about 1975....

 

It was interesting to learn that she had had two lots of childhood cancer, which had meant that she hadn't been able to finish her education, and yet I don't remember her once using that in anyway as ammunition or an excuse....

I will really miss Zoe, she was so down to earth, and added a few more colourful expressions to my vocabulary

 

I've been a big fan of Tom, but I have to say that I thought he has looked a bit weak in the last couple of episodes...let's hope he can show us what he's capable of...someone needs to shut Melody up first though!

I sort of liked Zoe but I think she didn't come across very well last night. I find Melody incredibly annoying but I think that Zoe didn't handle herself at all well regarding Melody.

 

I still think Helen is by far the best candidate, well at the very least she hasn't annoyed me so far......

I actually fancied a Bixmix last night. That role play was absolute dire!

I think Helen to Win. I like Tom, but his is a weak candidate. Susie may well be in the final too.
