Cinnamon
My youngest has her Prom on Friday and typically has choose a very cute but very short frock, with a full netted skirt. We are having a problem finding sheer black tights,as they all seem to have the reinforced bit at the top of the leg, which shows when she walks. Does anyone know of any special tights you can wear with a short skirt that doesn't have this bit? Opaques don't have it,but they look too heavy. The only others we have found that are ok are Fishnets, but I am not keen, although Cleo likes them
Alis girls
|Sorry not sure esp if got to be black. Another option is spray on tights but I think they only come in flesh shades - fake tanned legs not an option? Prob not if very short. Have you any big department stores round you with a good tights section you could go and ask? Good luck and hope she has a good time
Millihelen
I am fairly sure that M&S 10 denier ladder resist sheer are sheer from waist down. I just had a look at the illustration online to check - and it does look like it in the picture too. Hope this helps

patsylabrador
Apparently all the fashionistas are promoting 'nude' tights at the moment.
The Dogmother
Dancers tights are the same all the way down, I used to get mine from Dance Direct. I guess they are still going. We shall expect photos of said dress
Cinnamon
Got the M&S ones - the photo on the front shows no reinforced area, but we shall see.............. Drawn a blank on the shoes though,so she says she is going to wear her purple metallic DM boots instead
KimmyCustard
What sort of shoes does she need? Office have a 50% sale at the mo, in all of the girly departments
Cinnamon
Flats, because she is tall & very leggy,& is wearing a shorter than short frock. She is amazingly fussy. We tried Office today, but she will only really consider Iron Fist shoes (very punky), & Shue had sold out of the ones she wanted in her size. I have managed to find a pair on eBay though & they can deliver by Thursday

Cinnamon
Yep. She is dying it black, but bleaching out a sweeping bit across the sideswept fringe and dying it something bright....red or purple seem to be favourites at the moment. Photos will follow
