Chryssie has trying to fly in the window 3 times, i dont think they have quite mastered its a window and then daisy just watches her thinking "you daft thing!" they arent in bed yet though so might have to go out and pop them in but they seem lovely so far! they have had a few tantrums with the other girls though but hardly nothing! xxx

Just an update, they have put themselves to bed in the cube!!! cant believe it! and chryssie has taken top spot and blossom hasnt even moved her!!! she is so lovely, they seem to have really nice personalities. There has been a few pecks etc but nothing that is really serious, have put soome anti pek on though before i let them out just in case but im really pleased with them! checked on them and they are all cuddled up together  we will see what tommorow brings but generally they are out all day sat and sun so lots more exploring for them, and they look fantastic as a flock on 10!!!

do you keep 4 in your 3m run and eglu? also are the always on that surface?

Reason I ask is that we about to move from the country to the city and will only have small space and flagged yard. I have a 2m eglu classic and will add a metre to it when we move.

I am sure there are ways round the problem booboojosh. How about creating an appropriate size oblong with edging slabs...then filling it with bark chips and putting the eglu on it. You could plant some chicken grass in litter trays for when they free range round the yard
