Patricia W
My neighbours like cockerels too- long may it last!
counturchickens
We live in a town, our neighbours have a cockerel. Even before we'd thought of having chickens I wouldn't have dreamt of complaining. There are much more annoying noises, and if you live near to other people there has to be some give and take.
tracyann
How brilliant is that. I've not got a cockrell, my neighbour had five once, but it is fine as we live in the country. I aim to have one next year when I start breeding with mine.
Shelle
I hope you don't mind me using your thread Groovychook but a similar story was in my local paper today.... link2 Another poor countryside cockerel under threat of eviction. I don't understand how people can live in the countryside and complain about them. Surely you'd expect to hear them there ? If you can't have a cockerel in the countryside - where can you ?! Groovychook
I hope you don't mind me using your thread Groovychook but a similar story was in my local paper today.... Not at all! It's just so sad that stories like the one you found are all too common
