foreveryoung
Hello, as some of you prob remember, Molly got attacked by as fox and survived long enough to go to the vets in the morning..She also survived the op and is still with us..... I mentioned on the *we've been foxed* post.. I thought posting some pictures would 1 might rase awearness of what can happen 2, highlight that they can overcome something like this. (from experiance some vets seem to instantly suggest the best thing is to put them to sleep) Theres also a stitched up wound to her back anyway shes doing really well, and escaped into the garden this afternoon lol shes inside now (prob sulking) Edited July 18, 2011 by Guest

Chortle Chook
That's amazing. What an incredibly lucky girl and I thought it was cats that had nine lives. Well done you too for being such a caring Mum If Molly is escaping into the garden does that mean she is totally out of the woods now? I think so, last night I couldnt find her, when I opened the conservatory (the small windows are open to allow it to stay cool and airated) I could she was purched on the top of the cane chairs which is about 1 meter high . lol I will prob move her into the eglu run in a week or so - I am trying to avoid her getting an infection. x

jomeena
Poor Molly, glad she is feeling a bit better. When our Mavis was attacked ( by her sister not a fox ) we thought the vet would advise putting her to sleep, but she is still with us 2 years on and such a cheeky chick too. They seem to form a very close bond with the one that has nursed them.
