stoice
Here's a few snaps of my new girls. I got a speckledy, a light sussex cross and a redco from Landbase Poultry in Ardleigh as company for Beryl as we lost Blanche to a prolapse a few weeks ago. This was the quickest I could get some new ones and I certainly noticed the difference in Beryl as she was on her own for so long. She no longer did those little chirps when i came to see her. No chat. Now the new girls are here there has been very little bullying - just the 'I'm in charge' pecks, but plenty of whinging! Tut. You'd think she'd be happy to have friends. I think she is happier really though. Bless her. Pics aren't great - chickens never stay still! LOL Margot (Sorry it's blurry) Snowy on one leg (Hey so her name's not the most original but my OH named her. LOL) Nugget Three new girls with Beryl. Sorry mods - I've re-sized but they still come out big!!
