Currant
Four out of seven of my girls have bare bottoms and have for a few months. I thought it was feather pecking from Brenda bully but have found lice on one so could it have been that? They are really hard to spot aren't they. Have sprayed with Johnsons anti mite and purple spray (Sunday) and have just bought some Xeno 200 as well but not sure whether to use this now or wait til Sunday and just use the Johnsons again? Have cleaned out the cube and didn't find anything in there.
Egluntyne
Bare bottoms are often a sign that they are good layers, and their bodily reserves are being used up in churning out eggs rather than replacing lost feathers. You could try a protein supplement, such as mealworms. They should feather up again nicely after a moult.
nikkichick
2 of my girls have totally bare bums, sometimes i think i catch them pulling thier own out from underneath. I to though bullying, but there were never any feathers. I use Diamactous earth everytime i clean them out. I give mine meal worms, some i buy from omlet store and other times i buy live ones from pets at home which they go nuts for!!
