RIP Delilah

Recommended Posts

Took Delilah to the vet - he examined her and said he could feel small lumps in her tummy - possibly in the bowel - but she wasnt egg bound - very likely cancerous tumours. In light of the fact she is only going to detriorate further I decided to have her put to sleep. didnt take decision lightly but she wasnt herself and spent more and more time hunched up. This morning her tail end was very dirty and smelt dreadful - likely she wasdecaying inside. RIP Delilah - gone to join her sister in the big run in the sky. Her sister was pacing up and down - will try her and Maggie my new hen together tommorrow to see how they get on.
