busy bee
Heard something going on this morning and checked down the garden to check if anything was prowling about. Nothing to be seen. Went down later to see the girls and found a dead mouse in their run. Looks like it had been pecked well Now realised that they weren't shouting for nothing earlier and felt a bit bad I didn't respond better I only have four girls, so they did well between them to catch the mouse. Thought it would have been able to be a bit quicker and escape. Just wondering if anyone else's chickens go for mice and do they generally catch them/kill them?! sage
One of my ex batts got hold of a live mouse in the run. They went crazy chasing each other around. It got eaten in the end. Sage
