The Dogmother
Love the fabric! Well done. There weren't any nice (non-pretty) baby bags on the market when I had my daughter; they were all pastel, padded monstrosities with teddies and cute things on... not at all my style. I had an Oasis black backpack which fitted everything in it and looked stylish. Things have come on a bit since then.
Plum
That bag is gorgeous, no need for diapers, it would be good as an organiser bag. Love the Amy Butler fabric

bigmommasally
I would love to be as good as you one day. CJ This really made me laugh, I was useless at sewing at school I drove my teacher potty! And I really only picked up sewing again properly quite recently (about 3 years ago) thanks to Plum on this forum. There are many people, Plum being one of them, on this forum who are far far better at sewing than me, I'm just enjoying myself and honestly that bag pattern was really easy to follow, if you can sew a reasonably straight line you would be able to make it. But thank you for thinking I'm clever it has brightened my day. Off to reply to your sewing machine thread now
UKMARCH
That's lovely I agree very professional. I've just got a new machine recently and am going to try to make ED a book bag with some cute mule material which she can use for going to the library if it comes out looking half as good as yours I'll be pleased.
