Ain't Nobody Here
Oh, Alli, I'm so sorry . It's so easy to get flustered and get things all muddled up when you're under pressure . Something else will come along, I'm sure. As they say, "what's for you, won't go by you" .
Plum
What a shame, so sorry.
patsylabrador
Sorry, that must be so frustrating. Scenario type interviews don't guarantee that the best person for the job is selected. Best wishes.
Chortle Chook
Never mind. Sounds like one of the interviewers was a bit of a nasty cow anyway.

LolaLayla
So sorry. It is horrid when something like that happens. As you say at least you have a job and you never know an even better one may come along for you

donald
Do your research and just write down some answers and learn them without sounding like a parrot. The internet provides some good answers. Dont get bogged down though and keep it really simple. With children they may give you scenarios etc as to what you would do in certain situations. I have been asked what do other people not like about you? What do you see as your weaknesses & strengths? You can answer both of these ie that some people dont like the high standards that I expect or set myself and that I expect high standards to be maintained to do a good job and ensure ie in your case welfare of children to be a top priority. In effect you have turned a negative question into a positive for your benefit. I have been asked what would you do if you walked in on someone doing XYZ(ie bad things)? Depending on severity it could be to intervene/report/record /remove risk etc etc follow local policy and procedure to ensure it doesnt happen again etc etc
