Griffin
I should be doing housework but I'm having difficulty tearing myself away from the Leveson Enquiry on Sky News. I'm watching it all with the red button thingy. It's fascinating and in some cases heartbreaking. Margaret Watson was superb this morning, very courageous. Hugh Grant was an interesting witness yesterday, as was the response from the Daily Mail & Mail on Sunday to his evidence. Regardless of the outcome of the enquiry, surely the Daily Mail cannot get away with saying Hugh Grant lied yesterday? I do like the way Lord Leveson speaks, I could happily listen to him all day long Ah they've broken for lunch now before Steve Coogan, time to wash the kitchen floor! patsylabrador
I didn't watch it but I do agree it is easy to get distracted by some of the news stories. I like Prime Minister's questions and I especially like seeing what people & politicians actually say rather than how it is reported. I like all the harumphing & paper waving that goes on. Goosey Lucy
I lost an hour to this yesterday. Only the delivery man calling managed to get me to move I haven't dared watch it today.
Griffin
Sat down with some tea and toast to hear Mark Lewis. A brilliant article on him here: http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/lifestyle/article-24012590-my-ms-consultant-told-me-not-to-do-anything-stressful---so-i-went-after-murdochs-phone-hackers.do
Ain't Nobody Here
I only caught a snippet on the radio today of Kate McCann talking about pages from her personal diary being reproduced in the papers. I didn't catch how they got hold of it but it was horrible listening to her account of her feelings when she saw it .
chelsea
Loved watching Hugh Grant. His face was pure bewilderment - just like he is in the movies. The top QC fella bored me to tears - he had what seemed a 30 second pause between every word in every sentence.

He's got a very dry sense of humour too. The majority of the witnesses so far have been excellent, with the exception of Garry Flitcroft. I have no sympathy whatsoever with highly paid footballers (or those in other occupations) who think they can carry on with numerous women behind their wives backs and then conceal the truth from them with an injuction. I've no time at all for liars and anyone who behaves like that deserves all they get. Max Mosley was a fascinating witness today. I had no feelings about him one way or the other beforehand, same goes for Siena Miller & JK Rowling, but they were very interesting. The McCanns statement is horrific. It makes me think I'll never buy another newspaper as long as I live. I don't envy Lord Leveson at all, his task is impossible.
Griffin
Most of the statements so far can be read here, with the exception of the witness known as HKJ who appeared first this morning. He/she is annonymous. Mark Lewis is also missing from the list, there was a complaint about one paragraph. http://www.levesoninquiry.org.uk/evidence/
