Mrs Frugal
Well, not this space, but THIS space . It's a fab leader board and thanks so much for creating it, Vicki. It's immortalised in a sticky now so it won't get lost.
Egluntyne
That is good news. It always took me ages to look for the old one when someone wanted an egg adding.
Martin B
In the nesting box this morning were two dark brown eggs (almost red) and one monstrosity of an egg! I've never had one like this before, it is much bigger than the duck eggs that I have in the fridge.
Ain't Nobody Here
Get that weighed right now . We need some more entries on the Egg Leader Board .
Martin B
Need to go and pinch my Grandma's scales first, I can't find mine!
Snowy
Hurry up Martin - and don't forget to photograph it!
Martin B
It was 104g. Nowhere near the top of the leaderboard but it has made me very happy, and it was delicious!!!! I do have some photos but my connection lead is not working.
Ain't Nobody Here
Congratulations Martin, I'll add it to the Leader Board .
craftyhunnypie
Smartie, my white leghorn has done it again! She has beaten her record...a lovely white egg weighing 104g! It went from nest to pan in 10 seconds & was enjoyed by myself with some bacon! It was a double yolker, as was her egg from yesterday weighing 98g - enjoyed by hubby this morning. Ain't Nobody Here
Well done, Smartie . It's on the Board . Edit: well it is on the board, but the Gallery is playing up . Going out for lunch so will try to fix it later .
lozkate
Sam laid a 104g egg on Saturday following 2 x 98g over the last 4 weeks! Have taken a photo on scales for leader board but will have to wait a few days before we can post it. My son (9) told our neighbours that it was 104lbs! Ain't Nobody Here
Don't worry, we've not been asking for photographic evidence . I'll put it on when I get a chance. I got an 87g one today and was impressed - can't imagine what 104g looks like . (104lbs - now that really would beat Egluntine )
Jeanne
Am resurrecting this thread because look what I found this morning! I think it belongs to Artemis Fowl. Good grief
